Unless expressly stated in writing, products are not intended for medical diagnosis, treatment, human or animal clinical use, implantation, food use, cosmetic use, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or consumer home testing.
3. Customer eligibility and responsibilities

- the customer will not resell, export, modify, misuse, or apply products for unlawful, unsafe, or unauthorised purposes.
4. Orders
An order is placed when the customer completes checkout and confirms the purchase. The customer receives an electronic confirmation at the email address provided during checkout.
MiCo Scientific may refuse, suspend, or cancel an order if the product is unavailable, payment fails, shipping restrictions apply, required information is missing, the order appears fraudulent or unlawful, or the customer does not satisfy product eligibility requirements.
5. Prices, taxes, and invoices
Prices are displayed in the shop interface. Shipping costs, taxes, and other applicable charges are shown during checkout where technically and legally possible. International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or local charges imposed by authorities or carriers.
Invoices and accounting documents are issued using the information provided by the customer. Business customers are responsible for providing correct company, VAT, tax, and billing data.

For consumer customers, statutory consumer rights apply. For business and professional customers, warranty, return, replacement, and liability terms may be limited by applicable contract terms, product documentation, or written quotation terms where legally permitted.
9. EU consumer withdrawal right
EU consumers generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason, subject to legal exceptions. The withdrawal period for goods usually starts on the day the consumer or a person indicated by the consumer receives the goods.
To withdraw, contact contact@micoscientific.com with a clear statement of withdrawal, including the order number and customer details.
The right of withdrawal may not apply or may be limited for certain products, including sealed products that cannot be returned for health protection, hygiene, contamination, safety, or product-integrity reasons once opened; products made to customer specifications; perishable products; digital content supplied after consent; and products that cannot be safely or lawfully returned.
10. Business and institutional purchases
Business, institutional, research, laboratory, distributor, and professional purchases may be subject to additional terms, including quotations, procurement documents, restricted-use confirmations, export-control checks, product-specific safety obligations, and written agreements.
11. Applicable law and disputes
Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, purchases from the MiCo Scientific online shop are governed by Polish law and applicable European Union law.
For business, institutional, research, laboratory, distributor, and other professional customers, any dispute connected with an order, product, invoice, delivery, return, complaint, or use of the shop should be resolved by the competent courts in Poznań, Poland, unless MiCo Scientific and the customer agree otherwise in writing.
For consumers, this clause does not deprive the consumer of mandatory consumer protection rights or mandatory jurisdiction rights available under the law of the consumer’s country or state of residence.

10. Governing law, EU framework, and jurisdiction
MiCo Scientific sp. z o.o. is established in Poland, in the European Union. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, these Terms, the website, the online shop, and related legal notices are governed by Polish law and applicable European Union law.
For business, institutional, research, laboratory, distributor, investor, and other professional users, any dispute arising from or connected with the website, the shop, the products, the content, or these Terms should be brought before the competent courts in Poznań, Poland, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
For consumers, this choice of law and jurisdiction clause does not remove or limit mandatory consumer protection rights, data protection rights, or court/jurisdiction rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. If a mandatory law gives a consumer stronger rights, those mandatory rights continue to apply.
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Changes
MiCo Scientific may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version applies from publication unless a later effective date is stated.
Shipping and Returns
This section explains delivery, shipping restrictions, damaged shipments, returns, refunds, and withdrawal rules for MiCo Scientific shop orders.
1. Shipping regions
Available shipping destinations are shown during checkout or agreed separately in writing. Some products may be unavailable for delivery to certain countries, regions, institutions, or customer types because of product specifications, carrier rules, customs rules, export controls, safety requirements, or regulatory restrictions.
2. Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout where possible or confirmed separately for business, institutional, large, custom, temperature-sensitive, or special-handling orders. International customers may be responsible for customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, import permits, and local charges unless agreed otherwise in writing.
3. Delivery times
Delivery times are estimates. Actual delivery may vary because of stock availability, production time, order verification, customs review, courier delays, holidays, weather, import controls, or circumstances outside MiCo Scientific’s control.
4. Special handling
Some products may require specific storage, handling, shipping, temperature, documentation, or safety conditions. Customers are responsible for checking product documentation and ensuring that their delivery address and receiving personnel can accept the shipment under required conditions.
5. Damaged or missing shipments
If a package arrives damaged, incomplete, or visibly tampered with, notify MiCo Scientific at contact@micoscientific.com as soon as possible. Include the order number, tracking number, photographs of the outer packaging, photographs of damaged contents, and a description of the issue. Keep all packaging materials until the matter is resolved.
6. EU consumer returns and withdrawal
EU consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases, subject to legal exceptions. To exercise this right, send a clear statement of withdrawal to contact@micoscientific.com before the withdrawal period expires.
Returned products should be complete and, where applicable, unused, undamaged, unopened, and suitable for resale. The consumer may be responsible for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
7. Non-returnable or restricted-return products
Returns may be refused or limited where products are unsuitable for return because of health protection, hygiene, contamination, sterility, safety, product-integrity, regulatory, temperature, customisation, or special-order reasons. This may include opened sealed products, custom-made products, products requiring controlled storage, products with broken seals, perishable products, digital content already supplied after consent, and products that cannot be safely resold or reused.
8. Business, laboratory, and institutional returns
Business, laboratory, institutional, professional, and distributor returns require prior written approval from MiCo Scientific unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Return approval may depend on product type, condition, storage history, regulatory status, contamination risk, and safety documentation.
9. Refunds
Approved refunds are issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Refund timing may depend on payment providers, banking systems, inspection of returned goods, and legal requirements. Shipping costs are refunded only where required by law or where the return results from MiCo Scientific’s error.
